Kobi helping out with Xayla. Posted by Picasa

Xaylas has no fear of any slides. She is pretty brave and independant. Posted by Picasa

Yeah right. These people were so rude. We came in about 30 minutes before they were closing, and they were trying to tell us we couldn't bring our strollers and walk around. One lady said "this is not a park". I try not to lose my temper (and I didn't), but I just wanted to ask her "Are you having a bad day because you have a terrible attitude. Isn't this supposed to be a kid friendly environment. I guess not." I didn't want any confrontation, so I didn't say anything. We had fun looking around, but I don't think I want to go back and purchase any pumkins, I would rather give my business to a grocery store that has pleasant people.  Posted by Picasa

Went to the pumkin patch with Michelle, Michelle's brother, Linda (from my ward), and the kids. Kobi was looking for pumkins. The people at this place were so welcoming.  Posted by Picasa

One more update, Kobi has been doing so well in 2nd grade. I am so glad we came back to Iverson. I really like his teacher. It is amazing the difference can make with a teacher that fits your child's personality. I am very pleased.  Posted by Picasa

After this trip, Kobi was sick that night. He had a fever of 102 and his head hurt. He said, "they tricked us. Those animals were sick. See, now I am sick." He is feeling a little better today. He HATES taking medicine. I thought that went away the older you got. Nope. He has such a BIG gag reflex as well. It's gross sometimes. Today he said he was having trouble breathing when we were doing homework. I am glad I am in the profession that I am in because I took my stethascope out and listened to him, and I told him he was fine. He miraculously started breathing fine and was able to finish his homework and watch Star Wars. Funny how kids are.  Posted by Picasa

Kobi and some friends on a tractor.  Posted by Picasa

Now this was a bull I stayed far away from. Posted by Picasa

Is this a llama? I need to take farm animals 101. I am definately a city girl. Posted by Picasa

Kobi afraid to touch the stinky pigs. Posted by Picasa

Pigs staying warm and stinky. Posted by Picasa

Now I know this is Charlotte and her babies :) Posted by Picasa

Is this a donkey? I do not know my animals very well. It is cute. Posted by Picasa

The buses loading up at good ol Iverson. Posted by Picasa

I was able to help out at Kobi's filed trip. It was fun. It was "supposed" to be a farm. It was definately not the San Diego Zoo, but the kids got a break from school. I love it when I can help out. He classmates know me now as Mrs. Black. It is cute. One of his classmates picked flowers for me. It is actually fun being around healthy kids for once. (Not like at the hospital.) Posted by Picasa

K.C. and I went on a date to see the Lakers versus the Suns preseason game. The Suns won. Kobe B. was not playing. I like the Suns. It was very fun. Out of all the sports, I think basketball is my favorite. I can actually see the ball unlike sometimes when I watch football. Posted by Picasa

I cut Kobi's hair by the way. It looks pretty good for an unprofessional as myself :). Posted by Picasa

Xayla cheered up wit big brotherm Kobi. Posted by Picasa

I think this was the first time Xayla had seen so much rain. She was scared of the thunder as well. It is funny because she usually scream when big brother is around because she thinks he is going to bother her, but this time she let him comfort her.  Posted by Picasa

Rain. Posted by Picasa

It evened hailed. You can see some of the hail that looks like snow by my small bushes to the left. Posted by Picasa

It rained so hard last Sat. I think it was one of the times that it rained the most in Las Vegas. It rained all night on Friday. Here is some of the mud in my beautifully landscaped backyard:). Heh, we started on a patio slab at least.  Posted by Picasa
