Life

Life is crazy. K.C. has been on break this week. It has been wonderful. We are planing a trip to visit my sister, Sonyo, who is graduating on May26th! I am so proud of her. She is getting her bachelor's in Film. It is always what she wanted to do! We are going to watch a baseball game while we are out there. (Angels and someone).
T-ball has been fun. Kobi is still having a hard time focusing. He is just not into it. I don't know if he will play next year. He is having a hard time focusing at school as well. He wants to play a lot. We are working on it. He is such a sweet and good kid.
Xayla got one of her back molars in! She only has two bottom teeth and 3 top teeth, but her back molars are coming in! K.C. said you are not supposed to get those until 26 months! She is still not walking. We are working on it.
K.C. is thinking about joining the navy so that we will have health insurance and they will pay for our school. We kind of want to move overseas when he is done with school. Somewhere we could learn Spanish. We will see.
I am going to go and try to cook chicken and corn chowder. We will see how it goes!

I guess Xayla wanted Kobi's basket on Easter. Both of my children are at fun ages. Xayla is bossy (she HAS to have her way). Luckily Kobi is a push over when it comes to his sister. Kobi is sweet. He said, "I must have been such a good boy because of all the stuff I got in my Easter basket". It is so fun when they still believe in fun things! Posted by Picasa

Big brother trying to help Xayla Walk on Easter Sunday. She still isn't walking. She is almost 14 months. I am getting anxious, but I am sure I will regret it later.  Posted by Picasa

Xayla and I kind of just hung out at Circus Circus. Posted by Picasa

I have been lazy! This was spring break for Kobi. It was so much fun! We went to Circus Circus Adventure Dome on Sat. I thought that placed was boring now. I guess everyone else didn't. It was crowded! It was a lot of fun. I liked the Lazer Tag the best. I had the highest score! I was taking no mercy! I had a question too. If anyone want to answer. What is your philosophy or your parents thoughts on sleep overs? Are they OK? How many days are OK? At what age is it OK? Or is it even OK at all? Just a thought. K.C. and I were discussing that. Please give me some advice! Thanks!

Today again

I am at work again and tired. I was placed on-call, but then called in. At least I am making decent money, but I am tired. K.C. has been studying for finals. Nothing really new with the kids. I did finally wash my car yesterday for the first time in ages. I just don't get a joy out of washing it. At least it looks OK now. Now the kids can mess it up again! :)

today

I am working tonight. It is almost midnight. I am kind of tired, but I was called in, so it was time and a half. That is nice. It has been a good night so far. Kobi's friend is spending the night, I hope K.C. could handle 3 kids! Everyone else is resting right now. No fair! :(

Monday

Kobi had his first sleep over last night. He spent the night at his friend's Tre's house. He had a lot of fun. My baby is growing up :(. Tre and Kobi are here now. Now Tre is going to spend the night tonight. They are having so much fun. I am cleaning, and Xayla is napping.

I put together Xayla's first year pictures! Fun. I have to do Kobi's next.  Posted by Picasa

Tball game

Today we had fun. Becky helped me out by volunteering to run the snack stand at the T-ball field while we had our game. What a sport. Kobi caught 2 fly balls during the game. His grandparents were there at the game as well (from K.C.'s side). I guess he had to impress. It was a lot of fun. I think BEcky had the most fun. Couldn't you tell by the picture:) Good-night. I have to teach relief society tomorrow. I need to hit the hay!

Tuesday

I am so proud of Kobi. At school today I was watching him on the playground, and he ran up to the new kid in his class (he is Filipino and does not speak much English). He grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to where his friends were, and they all played. He is such a good kid. He is probably the most friendliest child you will ever know.
Yesterday was t-ball for Kobi. It was fun. I made cupcakes. K.C. stayed home with Xayla. That made me happy because the game was late (7pm).
I did the abs/legs work-out yesterday, today, I will do kick-boxing. I am thinking about signing up to teach some classes at 24 hour fitness. This will give K.C. and I free meberships. We will see. Well, got to go work-out!

A Monday!

I had so much fun this weekend. I got to hang out with one of my bestest (great English, I know) friends in the whole wide world :) Becky. We knew each other since about 7th grade. We went to a Korean church together when we were little. Don't ask me what we were doing there, but it kept us out of trouble. She went to Kob's t-ball game, then we ate at Lucielle's (I think I spelled that wrong). Man, I think I am still full from the ribs, grits, greens, and corn I ate there! I slept well this weekend. She is trying to fatten me up. She said I lost too much weight. I think my stomach went into shock..all that food I ate!
Then, we came back to my house and we played Mario Brothers on the Nintendo! That was funny. Kobi had a blast and we felt like kids again.
Later that day, I went to a Dental School Wive's Club party. The men went to the Priesthood session Sat night and the women and children hung out. My husband was watching the final four basketball on TV, but he joined the women later when their husbands came. It was a lot of fun! Kobi hung out with this 4 year old named Jonah. They had a blast. I got to hang out with my husband a lot, so that was fun, but now he is stressed about finals. :(. At least I had him for the weekend. I feel bad, sometimes I know he needs to study, but we are having so much fun. I should be encouraging him to study, but instead, I want him to myself :(.
Today, I bought some DVDs on sale. Exciting. I also maid Easter baskets for the kids and my husband. They don't know about it yet of course.
My gym membership is on hold, so we could save some money, so I bought some work-out videos. That is what I am going to do now. Then, I have to start preparing dinner, pick-up Kobi, do homework, feed the kids, make cupcakes for t-ball, and then, go to the t-ball game tonight! Lots to do. See ya!

Tball. Kobi was ready to hit that ball! He soesn't mess around! Posted by Picasa
